Public Event Photography

Anyone can take pictures and videos at SAPPD, but there are a few guidelines.
- The basics of public event photography: If you take the person(s) out of the picture and still clearly see the event, you're good. If you take a close-up of people without the event clearly seen behind them, it is NOT considered a public event photo. When in doubt, especially with children's photos, please ask permission first.
- The only photos authorized to be posted on official SAPPD forums and the website are those cleared by the Committee. Please feel free to share personal photos on your own social media.
- We request that, unless you have permission from the individuals, please don't post or tag pictures or videos you take at SAPPD on public forums. This is to protect the privacy of those who are not public. Thanks!
- SAPPD has an official Instagram, which will be updated live on event day. There are currently photos from past events, 2011-2014, and SAPPD 2019.
