Some have had issues with the digital PDF not working. If you do, download the PDF and fill out manually, and bring to Seshen at Pagan Night out on Sept 13.
San Antonio Pagan Pride Day 2018 has been confirmed for Saturday, 22 September, at Wonderland of the Americas. The website will be updated this week, and PDF applications for vendor and information booths will be available soon. Deadline for applications (booths/entertainment) and payment (booths) will be Sept 8, which gives the committee a couple of weeks to finalize the schedule and make any adjustments.
I was very impressed by the LGBT Pride Day event here in San Antonio; how everyone came together and were open about who they are. We would really like to see that same community spirit at SAPPD, including showing your Pagan pride with attire and attitude! We come from all walks of life, and to express that to the community at large would be a wonderful addition to our goal of public education and pride. As was the rally cry last year by Eclectic Traditions, "Ask Me About My Pagan!" So watch this space, and the website, for more information as we have it ready. Booth prices will remain the same as last year, and volunteers will be needed! More to follow, and thanks for your support! Seshen, Ember, and Pamela SAPPD 2018 Committee We encourage everyone to dress in whatever defines you as Pagan/Heathen. Go full ritual garb if you see fit! Let's have fun showcasing our diverse and colorful community!
Highlights:
We will have a Silent Auction at the May/June PNOs for fundraising. No donations required, we have plenty. Vendor Facebook group in process. If you've already submitted and been confirmed, you will be sent the invite at the Email provided on your application. The Virtual Food Drive link will be available on the website on August 15. We will also have boxes for donations at the event. Pamela will contact the S.A. Food Bank to see if we can get a QR code to advertise at the event drop site for virtual donations. Seshen will be contacting the Wonderland Mall event rep to touch base and pass along Committee questions. A very productive meeting with Alba, Wonderland Mall Event coordinator. She got us updated on the latest layout options, and we ironed out placements, setup details, and other items. Looking forward to working closely with her in the months to come.
Seshen, SAPPD LC Applications for Vendors, Entertainment/Workshops, and Info Booths will be up on March 1. They will be available when you see the pages show up on the navigation menu.
SAPPD 2017 will be making announcements and providing updates through our official Facebook and Twitter accounts. Here are the links; please come and join us!
